Our Organisation
LGNA is the first analytical laboratory for medical biology to specialise in human genetics. It was created by a university hospital team with 20 years of experience in the molecular diagnosis of genetic disorders.
This experience, combined with the scientific and medical skills of our biologists, gives us a comprehensive overview of issues relating to the diagnosis of genetic disorders.
LGNA is the first French diagnostics laboratory to be automated and computer controlled.,It is situated within the Institut Génétique Nantes Atlantique (IGNA), in the heart of the future City of Biotechnology of Nantes. LGNA has designed and developed a range of technical systems combining powerful equipment such as automatic DNA extraction systems, PCR systems, sequencing systems, DHPLC, punchers and the like.
